Homeshare Plus aims to offer more help to those who feel Homeshare is not enough. Homeshare plus candidates are volunteers who are willing to help in exchange for free accommodation and boarding, but as they have more free time to spare; (they might be full time students or retired or maybe just taking some time off to do something meaningful), they don’t mind offering more help.  The amount of help for Homeshare Plus is 25 hours.

WHO IS HOMESHARE PLUS GOOD FOR?

Homeshare Plus can benefit people who need a more continuous presence around the house or someone with more specific and time-consuming tasks. It is for someone who needs more help with breakfast, lunch, and dinner routines and finds it hard to fill in the gaps with outsourced care.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST THE HOUSEHOLDER?

The Homeshare Plus will cost £269 per month.

WHAT DOES THE HOUSEHOLDER PROVIDE?

The Householder will need to provide a spare room, utilities and meals for the Homesharer.

HOMESHARE PLUS FOR HOMESHARERS

Homeshare Plus works well for people who would like to help, have more time on their hands, and would welcome the opportunity to live completely rent and board free. Homesharer within the Homeshare Plus arrangement can still enjoy the flexibility the arrangement offers, being able to decide the hours they will offer directly with the Householder they are matched with.

WHO IS SUITABLE FOR HOMESHARE PLUS?

A Homesharer who has the ability to provide 25 hours per week of their of spare time. Someone studying from home, a mature student for example or someone who works part time, or you are someone who is taking a career break whilst deciding what to do next.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST THE HOMESHARER?

Homeshare Plus will only charge a one-off £150 administration fee to the Homesharer.
