Initially Supportmatch works closely with the Householder to identify their day-to-day needs and in turn matches them with a suitable Homesharer with the required skills to form a successful and mutually beneficial living arrangement. Our extensive lists of Homesharers are carefully selected, subject to a very thorough vetting process.

A Bedroom In Exchange For Help For Homesharers

The Homesharer’s requirements and needs are reviewed taking into consideration factors such as interests, hobbies, working hours, education and life style. The cross-referencing of both parties is crucial and enables us to find the most suitable match for both individuals resulting in a successful living arrangement. Once a successful pairing has been made, Supportmatch sets up a mutual arrangement and a legally binding agreement between the Householder and Homesharer, which is flexible and mutually agreed between the two parties. Supportmatch coordinators help broker the arrangement to ensure a successful match.

At Supportmatch Homeshare we pride ourselves on making the whole process as smooth and stress free for both the Householder and Homesharer.  After the initial registration, we typically find a suitable match within 2 to 4 weeks. Once the Householder and Homesharer are matched, we help facilitate their relationship and conduct a regular monitoring service for the duration of the match.

The Vetting process: We are an accredited and experienced provider of the Homeshare scheme. We meet the highest standards and requirements in delivering our Homeshare services. All Homesharers are fully vetted and undertake a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) and a full reference check.
